About Us
Pubrepublik came into being for two main reasons. One is we love a great night out and the other being that the pub industry deserves a great way to get the message out there that they have what it takes to give us just that!
We are a Cork based company that has brought together stock in trade experiences from both the IT and pub/hotel trades, (over 20 years in each as it goes). We keep in touch with the publican’s needs, wants, inventiveness and great ideas. We look at how best we can deliver this through todays technology and so reach the widest possible customer base.
We are endeavouring to create the definitive space on the web to bring pub goers, publicans and entertainers together for everyone to enjoy. For example;
You see if we can offer the public a way of searching for a bar in Galway, this weekend, that serves bar food and has live music in the evening, we are part way to making the night out a good one.
If a landlord has a new menu, a new venue, a diners evening or a rock band playing they have gone to a lot of time and effort, so we help to let as many people know what’s on offer as we can.
We hope that we can offer venue holders and entertainers the chance to communicate by offering a place where the landlord can advertise for a certain type of entertainment for a specific date and we offer entertainers a place to view which venues need who, where and when.
All in all we look to offer information that has real relevance. We want to offer great value for money and great facilities to the industry and to the general public. We want to do our bit for people to get a good time going out to new places, making new friends seeing more live acts and having fun. In running Pubrepublik we hope to do the same too.
